A very warm welcome to St. Wilfrid's School here in the heart of Angmering Village. We are a busy but friendly school, with many things going on. Our website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up-to-date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.
I am very proud to be the Head teacher of our thriving school where children are at the heart of everything we do. We have an active school council and introduced a new parents' council in September 2017. St. Wilfrid's is a forward thinking school, always searching for ways to improve to strive to the best we can. Our school vision is to ensure that all pupils will achieve the very best they can in an outstanding learning environment, knowing they are loved by God. We encourage everyone in our school community to 'Aim High, Believe and Achieve'.
St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School is a small community school in the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. We have 190 children who are taught in single year groups (Key Stage Two from September 2017). We pride ourselves on valuing all our children and welcoming everyone into our happy family. We work closely with The Angmering Locality schools within the area and also the Catholic Schools in the Worthing Deanery.
The school opens to pupils from 8:45 a.m. with registration at 8:55 a.m. The school day finishes at 3:10 p.m. for all pupils. There is an exciting range of before, lunch and after school clubs. We have a breakfast club each morning and an after school club (326), to provide affordable wrap around childcare for our families.
We aim to give our children skills they need for life and always encourage them to try their very best. Children at St Wilfrid's leave our school with confidence, knowing they are loved by God. We have chickens to help children learn how to care for others.
I hope you find your visit here informative and interesting and please do get in touch with the school directly should you require any further information. We would be very pleased to welcome you to our school, we look forward to meeting you.
