A warm welcome from the Headteacher

It is my pleasure to welcome you to St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School and to thank you for considering St Wilfrid’s as the school for your child. Deciding which school is right for your child is one of the biggest decisions you will make as a family and I hope that this website, and our prospectus, will answer any questions that you have and reassure you that your child will flourish with us.

At St Wilfrid’s we believe in working in partnership with families.  This means that you are involved in every step of your child’s school journey.  We will work with you as they begin in Early Years and see them safely move on to secondary school.  For now, though, let’s focus on the bit in-between!

Our vision at St Wilfrid’s is that every child leaves us knowing that they are loved by God. Through our distinctive Catholic ethos, children learn and live by the values of the Gospels treating each other with kindness and compassion.

St Wilfrid’s is a small, one form entry school, where staff are passionate about getting to know the children and their families.  This means that we are here when you need us and can offer support when necessary. 

St Wilfrid’s will offer your child an exciting, friendly and safe learning environment, alongside an inspiring and thought-provoking academic education.
